Sometimes there are good lessons, like learning not how to have that last mixed drink. Yet that's a lesson I don't want people to have to learn, more so at that age and stage of life.

I learned my lesson way before digital cameras were out and even high speed connections.
That's a horrible story, but when writing the question I did a little research which stated that most teens till they are adults don't partake in sexting which great, if your not 18 you have no business looking at someone. In fact sometimes I think a person should be 21 before they go into adult movies.
With that said, in the study I read the parents knew about the study, I'm not sure how many people are going to be honest no matter the age when it comes to adult maters.
I think you could ask several adults and they would deny it till they are blue in the face. Every few months you hear about a scandal, and they aren't going to get away.
A few months ago a bunch of cell phones of celbs were hacked, Heather Morris from Glee included. She didn't seem to be terribly bothered by it, I'm not sure if any people look up to her, but it still goes against the grain.
I can easily see a whole class or even a dorm getting a hold of a picture of your person that is meant to be private, I'm actually shocked about not hearing more terror stories about pictures getting out, but I'm relieved as well.
During spring break there was a news story saying how people, more so women were being more aware of themselves while on spring break. It's been a while since I been on spring break but it's more toned down now due to face book and other social medias.
I think other women are just now getting with it and more aware of what can happen if your caught in the wrong light.
Of course it's a good thing that we, even guys are thinking twice before sending or posting a picture due to technology. On the other side of the coin you do have to be almost too careful.
If your at the beach or wearing a sexy dress, nip slips do happen and people are ready and willing to take that cell phone out faster than you can fix yourself.
A few of my friends are teachers and we spend a lot of time down the shore, if they see a student who even just graduated the throw a towel over themselves because sadly that's where we are right now. They could easily take a picture of my friend in a bikini and send it to other friends and have that "you tell two friends, and you tell two friends" effect. It's like here's Miss so and so in a bikini.
It's sort of sad that we have to be so overly cautious even as adults, but I think that's where we are and where we are going to stay as a whole.

I'm too much of a baby to do the whole sexting thing personally. i think we are different than men when it comes to privacy. Guy's are writing it off as no big deal, where I find it very personal. Not only do you have to trust that person's morals, but trust their responsibility.
